Buygore is Still Lit

Do you remember how the best weekend of your life wrapped up? I do. I closed out my Miami Music Week experience last Sunday night at Buygore’s Still Lit party, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Forget stuffy South Beach clubs with dress codes and $4,000 bottles of champagne, Heart Nightclub was a three-story paradise full of exhausted but elated Ultra-goers, artists, and their managers. Obviously, it was lit.

One highlight in particular was the Space Yacht & Friends Stage, and everyone on it. This LA-based party made its way to Miami for the weekend and brought some excellent California vibes along. LondonBridge—who recently released a super cool bootleg—played a housetastic set as always. “It was super gratifying to be able to have a packed room for our first Space Yacht Miami,” he said. “It was one of my favorite sets of all time although I do admit, the end of the night was pretty blurry. I slept for two days straight after that.” Makes sense, considering he played the Buygore pool party that afternoon. Busy busy DJ!

A recap of this party wouldn’t be complete without mentioning my perfectly pink-haired firecracker Jackal and a girl social media has helped me identify as jenergizerr, who contributed some snazzy, spontaneous vocals to his one-month old track Netflix N’ Kill, a collaboration with Dr. Fresch. Not only did Jackal tear apart the 7 Up stage at Ultra earlier in the weekend, he absolutely killed his set that night. Like seriously, it sounds like music is dying and coming back to life all at the same time. How does he do it?! I don’t know, but hopefully one day I’ll find out.

The rest of the evening consisted of me roaming around Heart Nightclub, gin and tonic in hand, allowing my ears to be massaged by the sounds of dirty trap fun. Three stories meant I was out of breath by the end of the night, and more than happy to be. I woke up the next morning with a Snapstory that included a Death 2 Genres jersey and my own embarrassingly screechy voice yelling “bitches love cake” right along with Borgore himself. Clearly the night was a success.
