Connect with the curators of dance music at EDMbiz

written by Ariana Assaf

It’s rare to have some of the top taste makers in dance music together under one roof.

It’s extraordinary to be able to listen to them talk about some of the most exciting developments and pressing issues facing the industry today.

We’ve been to the weekend-long festivals and the late night shows, danced to the coolest new remixes and celebrated new releases of our favorite artists’ work. EDMbiz is your chance to take a look behind the scenes and understand how the magic behind all this is made possible.

From June 14-16 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, household names of dance music such as Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Moby, and Paul Oakenfold will discuss their careers and roles in shaping the scene, and how newcomers can carve a path for themselves. Off-stage talent including Alexandra Greenberg (Senior Vice President of MSO PR), Steve Gordon (Owner of Circle Talent Agency), Dede Goldsmith (Founder of Amend the Rave Act and President of Protect our Youth), and Liz Garard (Founder and President of Nap Girls) will talk mentorship, artist development, drug education, the importance of women in music, and more.

New to this year’s conference is the opportunity to wrap up each day with a Networking Happy Hour. And for you techies out there, the first ever EDC Hackathon gives coders the opportunity to develop their ideas and contribute to the effort of enhancing the music festival experience.

More on both of these additions to the 2016 EDMbiz conference, as well as a full schedule of events, will be available on the event’s website as soon as details are finalized. We hope to see you there!
