Today, LA-based DJ Ookay has given fans an extra dose of crowd favorite “Thief” with the release of the song’s music video. While the soulful sax notes and #loveislove message at the end of the video speak mostly for themselves, we’d like to give you a behind-the-scenes look at Ookay’s ideas for the video…
“While I had the vision for thief before the tragic events that took place in Orlando, it really changed my perspective on the song,” Ookay said. “As someone who spends the majority of my time in nightclubs trying to bring people together through music, it resonated deeply with me that someone tried to take that safe place away from us all. I wanted to send a message with this video that I truly believe in.”
