As I looked over the Vertex lineup, all I could do was smile as the festy-butterflies filled my stomach. You’re telling me that I can go rafting by day and sway to Odesza by night? Sold! As a fan of everything Madison House touches, I’m certain that Vertex will be another golden event.
The inaugural Vertex festival will be held in the outdoor mecca of Buena Vista, Colorado from August 5-7. With a lineup that is evenly split between live bands and electronic stars, I am confident that this festival will deliver vibes equally as eclectic as those of Electric Forest. And now, us Colorado folk don’t have to make the 18 hour drive to Michigan. Win-Win.
The festival will be offering field trips during the day that include leisurely hikes, rafting trips, and touring the town of Buena Vista. At night, festival-goers can indulge in each and every one of their musical tastes. If you’ve ever considered what might happen when the Alabama Shakes and Gramatik are put on the same lineup, then this is the getaway for you.
