With summer coming to a close, California EDM enthusiasts are all wondering what the fall season has in store, and Escape is screaming the loudest as the most promising festival on my horizon. Insomniac promises to outdo itself with its amazing lineup during this Halloween weekend; here’s some layout info you might want to know to prepare you for this year’s Escape: Psycho Circus!

Slaughterhouse

Needless to say, this stage will slay! The Slaughterhouse will be the main stage at this year’s Escape, providing a multi-genre music experience with through-the-roof visuals in store! Artists gracing these gory grounds include Hardwell, Tiesto, and Eric Prydz.

Ghouls’ Graveyard

Ghouls’ Graveyard will be home to thumpin’ and jumpin’ Big Room House on Friday, and melodic Progressive Trance on Saturday with sets from the likes of Dash Berlin, Lost Frequencies, and Kayzo. This stage will absolutely transform into a batty bounce house, so don’t you step one foot past it!

The Chopping Block

Although Escape’s site is not particularly descriptive as to what genres will be featured on this stage, they do tell us that Friday will be full of beastly bottom-end bangers, and Saturday will explore the cutting edge of sound! Regardless, we are beyond confident about expectations trailing last year’s explosive production from the Block with sets from Flux Pavilion, Excision and Moby! If The Chopping Block has a lineup that rivals last year, it’s definitely a must-see.

Cannibals Tea Party

Cannibals Tea Party may seem gruesome…but I prefer “grimy”. Escape explores the underground sounds from Tech House, cmu Deep House, and Techno at this stage all weekend with sets by melodically ruthless artists like Firebeatz, Rødhåd, and Nathan Barato.
