Zeds Dead is Coming to Detroit to Put Me in a Good Mood

written by Nate Manuel

Zeds Dead’s “Lost You” has been my go to pick-me-up for a solid year. During the time it was out before I finally found it, I hopped from Avicii’s “The Days” to Porter Robinson’s “Lionhearted” and beyond, looking for just the right melancholy, nostalgic, eternally-hopeful house anthem I craved.

The duo’s stop at Detroit’s Masonic Temple as part of their Northern Lights tour will be the first chance I’ll have to see them since my discovery. With support by Keys N Krates — who I recently waded through North Coast’s bass-freak heavy crowd to have the pleasure of viewing —it’s sure to be a night to remember.

Craftsmanship, collaboration, and the ability to play for rather than at a crowd makes both groups a perfect match. I’m looking forward to great MC ability, crispy drum kits, nasty sample flips. It wouldn’t hurt to hear my favorite pick-me-up!

Grab your tickets for Zeds Dead and Keys N Krates on October 3 HERE.
