Arizona is hosting a one-day celebration of all that the city of Tucson has to offer this October. With a dream of allowing the city’s talent to shine and grow with performers from around the world, Dusk Music Festival was formed by inspired local U of A graduates (Page Pepp, John Rallis, and Steve Stratigoulias). The celebration will cater to a variety of tastes, both in terms of food and music, allowing for new curiosities to be explored as well-all while supporting several local charities.

Music fuels the soul and begins the exploration of the event. Local talent includes indie rock geniuses Calexico and the skilled Latin folk/soul singer Gaby Moreno. Straight from outer space, Luna Ara will bring the crazy pop star vibes and cosmic electronica to the night. Carrying Tucson into the light nationally, the lineup also features well-known performers of the indie rock, hip hop, and EDM variety. Danny Brown and DJ Mustard will cater to any hip hop cravings, with Wild Belle spicing it up with some indie rock some time later. RL Grime is back in Arizona yet again, with the intense apocalyptic electronic music that is energetic and powerful. Well known for the track “Barbara Streisand” and nominated for a Grammy for this tune in 2012, A-Trak will entice electronic music fans as well.

The festival is more than just a music event, though. Aside from the diverse lineup, attendees have the chance to explore food and beverages from a dozen of the best local restaurants and breweries. Local artisans and vendors will display their hard work and creativity through art installations and vending booths. For those looking for something even more exhilarating, carnival games and rides will be available for exploration. Come explore and support the creativity of Tucson, enticing the five senses at Dusk Music Festival!
