Every festival’s lineup contains those few DJs at the bottom of the flyer that you haven’t heard of but you should have. Although Phoenix Lights is bringing some incredible, big name headliners like Tiesto and Alesso, they are also showcasing DJs that you didn’t even know that you wanted to see.

To start it off, Ekali is someone that you are not going to want to miss. His unique blend of chill beats and diverse bass drops will have you feeling like you’re in a different world. His remixes like “Can’t Stop” by Flux Pavilion and self-produced songs like “Dark Matter” with G Jones are just a few songs worth checking out to get you warmed up for his unique set taking place on Saturday of the festival.

For those looking for a fresh and upbeat house set, Shaun Frank is a must see. He is best known for his high-energy and fun collaborations with Oliver Heldens and Borgeous. So if you are looking for a set that will leave you smiling from ear to ear, then make your way to Shaun’s set on Saturday.

Sunday will include someone who may or may not be on your radar, but she definitely should be. Tokimonsta has an eclectic style that is unmatched and her set will be a unique experience for all music lovers. Check her out on Sunday to see what all the buzz is about.

Although this lineup has a variety of bass and trap artists, one that you may not have heard of is Hucci. His hip hop inspired trap style is something that you will not want to miss. His perfect blend of rap and sexy trap music will be a set like nothing you have ever heard before. Just to paint a picture of his style, his influences include artists like Flosstradamus and Baauer. All trap music lovers need to check him out on day one of the event.

Everyone loves a great main stage headliner, but always remember that the smaller names on festival flyers are equally important to the festival experience. Travel outside of your comfort zone and give these few DJs a chance to be a part of your Phoenix Lights experience this April 8th-9th, 2017.
