Derek Vincent Smith of Pretty Lights has always had a knack for strategizing his live shows. He pushes past the dazzling stage productions and live band performances of his songs to make his concerts into larger than life spectacles. Derek Vincent Smith has announced the sixth episode of his Episodic Festivals series. For his newest event, Pretty Lights has enlisted the help of the nation’s most picturesque venue- The Gorge. This mini-festival has been dubbed “Season Two Premiere, Episode 6, the two-day camping event”, which will be held August 4-5. This event will consist of a two-day camping festival hosted by Pretty Lights and many others will take the stage alongside him. Musical acts such as Atmosphere, STS9, Tipper, Lettuce, Cherub, Manic Focus, Chali 2na, Kasbo, Marvel Years, and Maddy O’neal are set to perform.
The first of the series took place in Telluride, CO in 2015 and since then Derrick Vincent Smith has successfully produced four other festivals in the series. Simply put, Derek is a creative genius! He places a ton of effort into seamlessly creating a once in a lifetime experience for his audience members. Not only is the venue picturesque, but the musical talent and anticipated collaborations between artists are going to be unreal.
