Something I’ve learned about dubstep & drum ‘n’ bass throughout my years is that there’s really nothing that can compare to the artists that hail from the UK. Coming from the land where dubstep originated in, UK artists have been perfecting their trade for nearly three decades now and boy, do they got it down.

Bassrush Weekender, held at the Hollywood Palladium June 30th & July 1st, is bringing that good UK dub to the states with some of the biggest names in bass music.

Flux Pavilion

If you don’t already know the name, you’ll for sure know his songs. With hits such as Gold Dust”, “International Anthem”, “I Can’t Stop”, and “Bass Cannon”, Flux has been dropping heat since he came onto the scene almost a decade ago. Finishing up his Around the World in 80 Raves tour, Flux is ready to bring his old school UK dub feel to Hollywood, who unfortunately didn’t get to see his most recent tour.

Zomboy

Kicking off his Rott n’ Roll tour with Weekender, Zomboy is set to play over 40 shows during this festival season. With his most recent EP Neon Grave gracing us with bangers like “Like a Bitch” and “Get with the Program”, Zomboy has been prevalent in every dubstep artist’s setlist for the last year. Bringing his metalhead roots to EDM, he’s set to bring some serious heat to Weekender.

Delta Heavy

DnB legend Delta Heavy is no stranger to the Bassrush fam.Ben Hall and Simon James, two friends that met in college, have been lighting up the bass scene with their unique blend of sounds. Hailing from London, this duo is no stranger to the UK scene and has continued sharing it with the rest of the world. Their widely popular single White Flag” has over 2 million views on Youtube. In response to the popularity, Delta Heavy put out a VIP remix that puts listeners into DnB heaven. I’ve been dying to catch one of their sets and can’t wait to groove out to them.

Trampa

Hot off a wild EDC performance, Trampa is known to break every Dubstep mold there is. He’s got some insane collabs under his belt; Trollphace, SKisM, Dubloadz, Cookie Monsta and remixes of Excision, EPTIC, and Barely Alive, among so many others. Making his presence in the scene nearly five years ago, Trampa has been helping headbangers everywhere consistently break their necks at every one of his shows. Being on Never Say Die Black Label is truly shows how talented Trampa is.

P0gman

Did you hear that? It’s p0gman dropping that wonky ish. Starting off the summer with four Free Music Fridays, p0gman is bridging UK dub with riddim sounds on his hot new track Ghost Empire”. After starting the record label I.AM.Audio with his brother, p0gman has been focused on bringing the underground to the big leagues with releases from Definitive, YAKZ, and Dubloadz. P0gman b2b Trollphace is one set all bassheads should experience once in their life. Why not now?
