It’s the most wonderful time of the year…

Every year around September, I check Facebook and Twitter frantically and on the daily, waiting patiently for a hint about Detroit’s most loved winter celebration- GRiZmas. Currently rooted on the West Coast, I know it’s just a matter of time before it’s dropped and no matter what- I’ll be there. Just last week my dreams came true, GRiZ announced the fourth annual run at the Masonic Temple for December 15th and 16th, 2017.

Am I excited? I honestly can’t even put it into words properly.

My favorite venue paired with my favorite saxophone master AND more?! YES PLEASE.

But really, this will be one for the books. I’ve attended the last three years and have to say, this is by far my favorite production of the year. It is SO much more than a show. GRiZ and his crew are coming back to gift Detroit with the fourth year of the 12 days of GRiZmas, including fun outings, surprise adventures and to top it off- two nights of love, funk, and good times- all for the ultimate goal of raising money for Little Kids Rock. The two weeks raised over $30,000 dollars last year, plus who doesn’t want to play Bingo or go bowling with GRiZ?!

And let’s not forget about the LIVE BAND… If you’ve heard amazing things about the GRiZ Red Rocks run, you’ve only gotten a taste of what is coming to the Masonic Temple this December. Grant and his 14-piece live band are taking over the stage on December 15th to create an ultimate funk experience right before our eyes.

There’s no fam like GRiZ fam- come check it out for yourself!

Get your tickets here (Expected to sell out soon).
