In 2016 I had the absolute time of my life at the 20th anniversary of Insomniac’s EDC Vegas. Walking into the speedway felt like I was walking into another universe. I am so pleased to be planning my first overseas festival trip to EDC Mexico on Feb 24 and 25.
I have traveled to Mexico 7 times, and each visit has been equally memorable. I spent time in Cancun, have traveled to Tulum, Chichen Itza, Playa Mujeres, but have never had the pleasure of staying in Mexico City. The city is a cultural mecca, and with all the wonderful food, temples, and sights to see, I have a full itinerary before the festival even begins!
The most amazing thing about EDC Mexico is the price. Are you ready for this? At tier 4, tickets are only approximately $120!!! That is a huge savings considering the typical price of Insomniac events in the states! VIP is only approximately $200.00. This is an incredible value! The production level of Insomniac events is out of this world, and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us in February.
After visiting California for the Dreamstate Trance event, I have been itching to see another incredible lineup like this.
There are so many gems on this lineup, but I’m most excited for the Anjuna artists like Above and Beyond, Andrew Bayer B2B Ilan Bluestone, and Moon Boots. Moon Boots wins my overall pick for record of the year for First Landing. Check out this glorious masterpiece.
I couldn’t leave out my absolute favorite producer in the world, Deadmau5! Joel has been on fire all last year with his Deadmau5 headlining shows, as well as his Testpilot sets, some along side Prydz. I hate to seem basic, but I’m hoping he plays Strobe.
Finally, my last not to be missed set will be from Black Gummy. His Ezoo 2017 set completely blew me away. It was my first time seeing him, and not only was it my favorite set of the fest, but it is in the top 5 sets for my year! Check out his phenomenal talent.
I could go on and on about this absolutely stunning lineup, and I am so excited to attend my 3rd ever Insomniac event! I look forward to seeing all you wonderful headliners in February!
