GRAMATIK

Slovenian born DJ/ producer Denis Jašarević, known by his stage name Gramatik, headlines this year’s Finding Euphoria Festival. His interest in music began at the tender age of three when he would listen to his sister’s jazz, funk, soul, and blues cassette tapes. As he grew older, he was introduced to the hip-hop culture through artists such as Dr. Dre and DJ Premier, which led him to start producing hip-hop tracks. Jašarević began sharing his tracks on Beatport, helping him gain a following in Europe and the United States. He signed with his first US agent, moved to New York City, and released his debut studio album Expedition 44 in 2008. Shortly after releasing his first studio album, Gramatik signed to the Pretty Lights Music label. In 2013, he left Pretty Lights Music to establish his own record label named Lowtemp Recordings. Some of his well know single include “You Don’t Understand,” “Native Son,” and “Recovery.” You do not want to miss this trip-hop king’s headlining set!
