In a few short weeks, Goldrush Music Festival will take over Rawhide for an explosive celebration of EDM’s hottest artists. We reported on the return of the wild, wild west back in June and we’re ready to immerse ourselves in a weekend filled with more than 50 acts spanning multiple stages. If you’re a festival goer who likes to dance until the sun comes up, you’re in luck. Relentless Beats has announced the official Goldrush Superstitions After Party series, taking place just a quick step away from the festival grounds. Industry pioneer, Deadmau5, and crowd-favorite Desert Hearts label will take their talents from day into the night.
The fall music festival scene is growing in the desert, with Boo! taking place in October and Decadence taking place in late December. Other festivals in the area like Superfly’s Lost Lake Festival have seen unexpected cancellations, but Goldrush shows no signs of slowing. The wild-west themed festival has seen the likes of Marsmello, Dillon Francis, RL Grime, and more. This year’s ticket includes major label names such as Illenium, Deorro, Steve Aoki, and Slushii.
As for the after-parties, Deadmau5 has paved the way for other artists in the industry. Getting his start in 1995, he’s since established himself as a pioneer in the electronic dance music scene. Besides his passion for challenging the status quo, he’s frequently recognized as an internet troll. The latest? Mocking Hardwell for his Twitter announcement to take a step back from music making.
All Twitter feuds aside, we’re hoping he Deadmau5 breaks out the infamous cube at his late night venture. His performance in April of 2017 at The Fillmore is one of our favorites, with a mind-blowing light show and stacked setlist featuring the unique set accessory that only makes an appearance at certain gigs.
The official after party on Saturday will run from 1am-4:30am. After party admission is separate from general festival entry, so be sure to purchase your ticket here.
For Sunday, the after-party will feature the entire Desert Hearts label, with performances from Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs, and Porky from 12am-3am. You won’t wanna miss this one! Keep the party going all weekend long and purchase your tickets for night two here.
