Phoenix Favorite M3F Announces Impressive 2019 Lineup

We’ve been blessed with 16 years of McDowell Mountain Festival (M3F), which means 16 years of unique, diverse, and impressive lineups.

This year is no different. The Phoenix-based nonprofit music festival has a notorious reputation for hosting some of the best artists in the business, bringing a well-rounded event to an otherwise less popular festival destination. Held at Margaret T. Hance park in the heart of Downtown, M3F is an exciting, intimate event that has found success year after year for several reasons. We’re proud to announce the 2019 lineup!

1. ODESZA

If you’ve somehow not yet witnessed the magic that is ODESZA’s A Moment Apart tour, I suggest you hop on this opportunity ASAP. While supplies last, this set is a must-see. Actually, read this as less of a suggestion and more of a demand. What we can guarantee is that this performance will absolutely leave you speechless. The Seattle-based duo brings the house down every single time they perform – with hits new and old alike. If you’re unfamiliar, reference the sheer joy of songs such as “Sun Models”, “Higher Ground”, “Loyal”, “Late Night”, “Bloom”, and many more.

2. Empire Of The Sun

Safe to say we’re walking on a dream after hearing that the Aussie synth-pop band will be making an appearance, and likely a memorable one at that. Prepare to step into a psychedelic playground. The group is famous for their futuristic costumes and entertaining choreography. Past shows have seen dancing swordfish or alien-like warlords, to give you an idea. Though we haven’t seen new music from Empire Of The Sun since 2016, this set will be an absolute must-see.

3. Big Wild

The weekend starts when Big Wild shows up. Jackson Stell, EDM producer, and DJ, is known for his laid-back vibes, though its hard to say what he’ll bring to the table at this year’s festival. His mash-ups are incredible, his Invincible EP is nothing short of amazing, and we’re confident he’ll pull out all the stops for this performance.

4. Jungle

Modern soul collective Jungle is the group to watch this year. A gold record and a few sold-out shows later, it’s safe to say this is a win for M3F. The seven-piece band has recently garnered attention from the world. The reason why is obvious: their music is entirely captivating. We can expect to see performances of “Happy Man”, “Heavy California”, and more.

5. The Knocks

On the heels of their most recent album release, New York Narcotic, now is the time to entertain the groovy New York-based electronic music duo. Mr. JPatt and DJ Ben Roc are a delightful addition to this stacked lineup, with unstoppable tracks and collabs with some of the industries best-emerging artists like Sofi Tukker and Foster The People.

Additional artists you can expect to see at this year’s festival are Kurt Vile And The Violators, Umphrey’s McGee, Lettuce (2 Sets), Chicano Batman, Margo Price, Marian Hill, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, Toro Y Moi, Kevin Morby, Opiuo, Twiddle, Nombe, Sunsquabi, Allah Las, Ripe, Maribou State, Mansion Air, Big Something, Mt. Joy, Evan Giia, Kauf, Young & Sick, Wafia, Cheap Hotels, The Hip Abduction, and more.

Tickets go on sale at 9am MST today. Purchase here and check out the official lineup below!
