With the year coming to a close, it’s time to start looking forward to which festivals lie ahead of us in 2018. One not-to-miss festival is One Love Cali Reggae Fest, having just dropped a droolworthy 2-day lineup that has us reggae fans stoked. One Love is a 2-day event being held February 10th and 11th at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, the birthplace of one of the greatest bands ever, Sublime. Come one, come all to this family event so be prepared to merge with all walks of life in the LBC.

VIP? You bet!

There are definitely some cool VIP options to consider!

  • Lounges — With main stage pit access alongside a ground lounge with a private bar, convenient charging stations, VIP restrooms with entry lane, the VIP Lounge is not a bad way to go.
  • Rage on the Stage — For those wishing to avoid the crowd but still partake in all the fun, there is the Rage on the Stage VIP option that allows side stage viewing platform access. That’s right… You on stage with the bands!
  • VIP Legend Tables — Because who wouldn’t want to grab 3 friends to pop a complimentary bottle, eat lunch and dinner, AND enjoy all of the lounge privileges with?!

No festival, no problem.

For those unable to attend the festival, be aware of the Friday pre-party with reggae juggernaut Steel Pulse, The Expendables and others joining in on the bash! There is also a Saturday after-party with Easy Star All Stars and The Simpkin Project, oh and did I mention these parties are literally ON the Queen Mary?!

Must see artists

Here are a handful of artists to catch throughout the weekend at One Love Festival and parties:

Rebelution
One of the most prominent and inspiring reggae bands out there spreading love and light through their music, Rebelution always puts on an amazing show.

The Expendables
Hailing from Santa Cruz, The Expendables is a beautiful fusion of reggae, ska, and some punk rock that will stir up a mosh pit to go along with the melodic vibes so beware.

Pepper
Known for their hits including the track “Give it Up” these Hawaiians never disappoint. Just wait and see… You’ll find yourself singing along before you know it!

Atmosphere
The hip-hop switch that One Love is throwing at us and quite frankly, I’m not mad about it. Atmosphere is guaranteed to get the crowd rocking with his banging beats and witty lyrics to accompany.

Barrington Levy
A longtime figure in the scene, Barrington Levy brings that signature dancehall/reggae sound to the stage that just makes your body want to move.

Nas
Enough said!

Do not puff, puff, and pass up your opportunity to join us at One Love Cali Reggae Fest!
