We are only a couple of weeks away from one of the biggest EDM events in Northern Mexico. Originating in the Netherlands, WiSH Outdoor will be at the beautiful city of Monterrey during Memorial Day weekend. Located at one of the city’s most popular locations, Parque Fundidora, the one-day event will be returning for the 4th year in a row. Since attending Beyond Wonderland Mexico at Parque Fundidora earlier this year, I have been counting down the days until I get to return to this beautiful location. Check out the announcement below.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Along with the impressive lineup, the festival encourages attendees to expect the unexpected with fireworks, lasers, and a special closing show among the many highly anticipated surprises! Here are a couple of things you can expect:
MIGHTY FLAMES!
The Dutch absolutely love their flames and you can be sure that they will be bringing the highest level of production over to WiSH Outdoor Mexico.
DON’T MISS: Armin van Buuren
The undeniable king of trance is known not only for his euphoric sound and melodic beats but also the high level of production that comes with it. If you love your lasers and pyro, be sure to bring your sunglasses because you’re in for a treat.
HARDSTYLE!
Undoubtedly my favourite style of electronic music, WiSH Outdoor Mexico features a stage dedicated just to hardstyle. The genre combines techno and hardcore sounds to create not only a unique and fast-paced sound but also a special vibe that cannot be found anywhere else.
DON’T MISS: Coone
After announcing the biggest move of his career, Belgian DJ Coone shows no signs of slowing down in the lead up to making hardstyle history with his main stage debut at Tomorrowland later this year. Coone will be making an appearance in Mexico as part of his Trip to Tomorrow and should not be missed!
LIFT OFF!
The previous editions of WiSH Outdoor Mexico have featured a variety of activities such as zip lining and air hockey. You can be sure to expect a range of things to keep you occupied when you’re not busy dancing the night away.
DON’T MISS: Epicland
The designated area for all things fun! Grab yourself a free map at the entrance and make sure to explore the festival grounds. Find yourself at the most fun and interactive corner of the festival at Epicland!
GLORIOUS MOMENTS OF GOLD!
Although the picture speaks otherwise, some of the most glorious moments of the festival are in fact not man-made. Located in the heart of the city, Parque Fundidora is surrounded by mountains and acts as the perfect location for a festival. The natural beauty of the city definitely makes the event unique and glorious.
DON’T MISS: The Sunset
Earlier this year, I was able to watch Aly & Fila during the sunset slot at Beyond Wonderland Mexico. The mountains surrounding the city make the perfect backdrop for a festival and create an absolutely magical vibe. Be sure to check out the sunset at the main stage, I promise you won’t regret it!
